The Vince Lombardi Trophy is Going Home!

Super Bowl XLV marks a memorial point in history for the Green Bay Packers in 2011.  They are bringing the Vince Lombardi Trophy home for only the fourth time in history. In what can best be described as a long and nail-biting Super Bowl game, the Green Bay Packers took the Pittsburgh Steelers 31 to 25.  Even after being penalized in excess of 70 yards in the second half, the Packers were able to regain their composure and make their mark in history.  There’s a lot to tell, and a lot to discuss, but I will leave that up to the news and media sources.  They will have their version of all the details, and I am certain […]

Tragedy Strikes Cowboys Stadium During Pre-Super Bowl XLV

Arlington, Texas fire officials have confirmed that seven people were injured, one of them critically, when ice fell from the roof of Cowboys Stadium this afternoon. The ice reportedly began melting and falling on the northeast side of the stadium after temperatures dipped to the low 20s, and up to 6 inches of snow accumulated earlier in the day.  Week-long winter storms have been pummeling the entire region and causing havoc for this years Super Bowl.
